I know that (now), but many probably do not?
So when they put up a tweet like the one you see above...with a link to the naked Lara Bingle photo doing the rounds at the moment...there could be some fall out?
For instance if Lara (or her lawyers) see this image, and choose to take legal action; who do they take legal action against? Do the North Queensland Cowboys have a case to answer because they have not protected their brand? Personally, I think the Cowboys do have a case to answer. How many time do brands need to be told to protect their IP by tracking down squatters and seeking to protect their brand??
This is a controversial subject, and one we will not hear the last of.
What do you think...do the North Queensland Cowboys have a responsibility to make sure a 'squatter' does not use their account (or logo) for distributing potentially illegal content, or is all publicity good publicity??
I feel sorry for Lara Bingle, and her family and friends...and can see how this content can get out of hand.
